Kenmore manufacturers some of the best dishwashers available on the market today. With more than 70 models to choose from, there’s a high probability you’ll find one that meets your specific needs. Kenmore creates its dishwashers in three lines: Kenmore, Kenmore Elite and Kenmore Pro. Each line has better features and tools and is more efficient the one before it, but they all get the job done – and there’s a model for every price range. Kenmore dishwashers are available to buy online or from Sears, Kmart or Ace Hardware.
The basic Kenmore dishwasher models generally have enough room to hold 12 full place settings. A place setting includes a dinner plate, a dessert plate, dessert spoon, soup plate, soup spoon, a glass, a teacup, a teacup saucer, a teaspoon, a knife and a fork. This is more than enough space to clean a day’s worth of dishes from family meals. If you are from a smaller family, or live alone, you might want to alternatively consider one of the best countertop dishwashers to save on space and energy.
These dishwashers also relatively quiet, generally producing around 50 decibels of sound during the wash cycle, though this varies from model to model. They also use two of Kenmore’s PowerWave spray arms, which alternate water jets to clean dishes from all directions, offering more washing coverage than many dishwashers on the market today.
Kenmore Elite dishwashers have about the same capacity as the regular Kenmore machines, but they amp up the cleaning power and selections available. These dishwashers use what Kenmore calls 360° PowerWash Plus spray arms, which are even more powerful and spray from more angles than the PowerWave arms. Combine that with Kenmore’s TurboZone technology – six pressurized spray nozzles designed to cut through tough messes like caked-on food and grease – and your dishes get clean fast.
Dishwashers in the Kenmore Elite line also have a SmartWash cycle, which fine-tunes water and energy use to the minimum needed for your load. Additionally, these appliances use UltraWash Filters that capture food particles as they fall off the dishes so they don’t reenter the dishwater, making for much cleaner dishes. Kenmore Pro dishwashers are the top-of-the-line models. They have all the great stuff found in the Kenmore and Kenmore Elite dishwashers but are designed to be used with the wider Kenmore Pro line. Kenmore Pro appliances include refrigerators, ovens, stoves, microwaves and more. If you want your kitchen to have a unified look, you’ll want to get all your machines from the Kenmore Pro line. If you’re just looking for a stand-alone dishwasher, you’re probably good sticking with the regular Kenmore or Kenmore Elite lines. Kenmore dishwashers are some of the best machines you can buy. They have good capacity and sophisticated washing technology, and there are models that fit in any budget. You can choose the one that’s right for you by browsing through the Kenmore website or simply heading down to your local Sears, Kmart or Ace Hardware.
